WGRZ CHANNEL 2 NEWS VISITS SJS!
We were on TV on Saturday, April 26

On Wednesday, April 23rd, WGRZ Channel 2 News came to St. Joseph to witness our Curiosity Shop! The Curiosity Shop was a fun and educational event that involved the whole St. Joseph School community. Students from the various grades worked on research projects and then invited the community in to their classroom to share what they had learned.

All visitors carried a passport that they had to get stamped after they learned something from each classroom. Examples of the student projects included growing a garden, China through the ages, becoming animal detectives, space exploration, ancient Greece and remarkable people in U.S. History.

Channel 2 (WGRZ) featured the Curiosity Shop on Saturday, April 26 on Liz Vetrano's Kids 2 Day segment which normally airs during Daybreak from 9-10am. Additionally, the segment will be available for viewing on the WGRZ website at http://www.wgrz.com/.
